Organization Attempt #1

Hanging file folder organizer inspired by Remarkable Home

Instead of sewing like Remarkable Home suggested in her tutorial, I just stapled the edges together. I glued the tabs downward, but since my folders were kind of cheap (thank you, TJMaxx), they started to wrinkle. I used staples on the rest of the project (even on the ribbon!) and it seems to be strong enough. I embellished with some flowers and brads, but skipped the ribbon... no emergency trips to Michael's for grommets today!

My Birthday

Plain and simple sprinkles

and beautiful ballerina toppers on chocolate cupcakes made by Rachel:

Bee Bunch Cake Pops

These chocolate pops (apparently chocolate is not as big a hit as funfetti but I needed a change) were made for Brianne's 29th Birthday! I went with bumble bees because she performed earlier that night as Brianne & the Bee Bunch.

Elephant Funfetti Cake Pops!

Mom's surprise party. Had to run to Michael's in Queens to get grey food coloring. Of course they were out, so I got some black and mixed it with the white melting chocolate (Wilton). My family thinks they look like bats...

The noses are made by cutting up twisted pretzels and sticking them into the cake ball before freezing and dipping. The ears are made by smudging chocolate onto a flexible cutting board, freezing it, and then popping it off and cutting to size. This was really time consuming, but mom loves elephants!
