Instead of sewing like Remarkable Home suggested in her tutorial, I just stapled the edges together. I glued the tabs downward, but since my folders were kind of cheap (thank you, TJMaxx), they started to wrinkle. I used staples on the rest of the project (even on the ribbon!) and it seems to be strong enough. I embellished with some flowers and brads, but skipped the ribbon... no emergency trips to Michael's for grommets today!
Looks great!! Glad you liked the idea! I love mine but need to make a new one as mine has kind of had it after 4 years.
